The West Highland Way was the first long distance footpath to be established in Scotland. The Way runs for 152 km (95 miles) from Milngavie northwards to Fort William – from the outskirts of Scotland’s largest city to the foot of its highest mountain along the shores of its largest loch and across its grandest moor.
